About CircuitCalc

Fast, accurate, oscilloscope-dark engineering calculators designed for hardware developers, embedded firmware engineers, and makers.

Why This Project Exists

If you work on an electronics bench, you've experienced the frustration of searching for a standard calculation — such as an IPC-2221 trace width, an LED series resistor, or an AWG ampacity chart — only to land on bloated websites covered in full-screen modal overlays, auto-playing video ads, outdated 1990s CGI scripts, or confusing form submissions that require server round-trips.

CircuitCalc was built to be the antidote to web clutter. It is designed to sit on your second monitor right next to your KiCad schematic editor, datasheet PDFs, and oscilloscope traces.

100% Client-Side

All math runs locally in your browser. Instant results as you type with zero server compute delays and zero data logging.

Standard Compliant

Built rigorously against IPC-2221, IEC 60062, and EIA standards, with nearest commercial E-series resistor snapping.

Calculation Chaining

Calculators pass values forward via URL parameters, matching real-world hardware design workflows.

About the Creator & Dgen Technologies

CircuitCalc is created and maintained by Tirthankar Dasgupta, founder of Dgen Technologies. With extensive background in embedded firmware architecture, hardware prototyping, and electronics instrumentation, every calculator formula is checked directly against empirical datasheets and engineering physics.
